People say he's the best in town... he's the best in the friggin valley from Golden to Creston - my home is 90 minutes away. I won't get service anywhere else, the guy sells quality and has access to all the parts. Sometimes it takes a week to get the part in, but I am more than happy to wait and keep supporting this legend.
Had to give a shoutout to Jim’s Small Engines after my recent trip in. I needed a strangely specific part for my mower — the kind of thing you assume nobody has unless it gets ordered, delayed, and turned into a whole production. Jim somehow reached into the void and produced exactly what I needed. (For the mechanically inclined: a 3/32" spring-steel snap ring for the keeper on the synchronized auto choke of a 6.5hp Kohler motor. Took leaf blower in for repair, ended up getting a carb kit, got home wasn't running right, took it back carb was adjusted, next day same problem took it back and was told to just go buy a new one as there was not much more he could do and maybe the compression was low or something, wow
