Tried to give a fellow veteran the business and it almost cost my life. Had Jim do a front wheel bearing and mount/balance two new tires. 5 miles in, he had to rebalance the front tire for a serious wobble. Got it back, put 40 miles on in and lost the wheel bearing. There was so much play in the bearing that the wobble SPLIT the front caliper open like a clamshell on the interstate, stopped the bike with the rear brakes, front end wobbling so bad i couldn't even catch hold of the bars.
