Sent my polaris cylinder to be rebored for my new rebuild. Had it returned to me completely spotless, bored, and honed with great crosshitching in the sleeve. All the ports were filed by hand and left with no sharp points. Job costed 200 bucks and I was pleased with the results at the price.
I had a broken stud in the head that was off my engine. I got charged 98 bucks, which I find a little pricey! I had removed these studs before, but I didn't want to take a chance. I guess I shouldn't have done it.
Got a built 383 from them, it was supposed to make way more hp than it did on there dyno, it took 3 times as long as they said it would, couldn’t get any customer support from them and it came in way way over the budget they quoted. In the end when installed it huffed out the breather like a steam engine right out of the box. Had to get another engine guy to fix it.
Jim has built me the perfect engine for my Chevy C10. What more can I say. Awesome 383 stroker, torque without end... Runs perfectly here in Switzerland too! The effort for transportation and import were worth it. Gladly again! Thank you Kerri & Jim, great job! Hope I'll be in Canada soon and can visit you! Cheers, Manuel
Jim machined my engine head and fixed it for a very reasonable price and very quickly. I would definitely recommend Jim's Engine's for any fix you need done on your Engine!
