I have taken all of my vehicles to jims for over ten years. He has always given repair and service at a fair price. His estimate are very accurate and include all parts and labor. Any issues with his work are corrected if they are in any way related to the parts or labor he has done.i recomed jims shop for repairs and any services he provides as your first choice.
This place is great, Jim is awesome and truly cares about his customers. During my morning commute the engine light came on and it started to smell like burning rubber. I was a little worried as I commute a long distance every day and rely completely on my car. But when I called Jims and explained the urgency, they not only fit me in right away but had my car fixed and ready for me by the time I got off work!
Took my 78 Corvette in for a 4-speed shifter problem. Jim was busy but offered to have a look. He put his top mechanic (during his lunch hour) on it and quickly determined the fault .....two loose shifter pivot bolts. Tightened one properly and replaced the other. He test drove and had the car back to me in 30 minutes. Great Service by knowledgeable people! I will use Jim's Automotive again.
I brought my car in at 1 pm on a Friday because the serpentine belt had started to make a weird noise. Jim himself came out, sprayed a bunch of WD-40 on it and said "well if it keeps making that noise bring it back Monday, it'll cost about $100." As I was driving into work on Monday the belt snapped off on HWY 26. I almost blew my engine. Now my repair charge is $600 because when the belt snapped off it messed up the timing.
