This location apparently doesn't own a knife because wherever I ask for the sandwich to be cut in half they never do. This only happens at this location.
There was no meat on half my sandwich. And the bun burnt. Almost broke my tooth.
Multiple times I've asked for something as simple as getting my sandwich cut in half and they assured me at pick up even that it was cut. This has happened many times and seems to be only this location. Also they apparently were out of lettuce wraps and the credit card machine was down. This location flat out sucks and I will go somewhere else when in this area.
Very clean store and the staff was great. I haven't had JJ since 2019 after moving to the RGV. These are not the sandwiches I remember and I will not be going back. In response to the owner: Thank you for the response. I want to clarify that my review wasn’t about this specific location’s service or cleanliness—both were excellent. My feedback was more about how the sandwiches have changed compared to what I remember from years ago. They used to be larger and more generously filled.
