They were out of bread at 7pm on a Wednesday and it smelled like marijuana.
I went to the Castle Rock location off of Allen Street this evening to get sandwiches for my daughters. It was 7 PM and they informed me that they were out of bread and that it would be a 30 minute wait. I couldn’t wait that long and even though I wanted to get the sandwiches, I also noticed that the whole restaurant smelled like weed, which was a huge turn off for me as a mom trying to get sandwiches for my two young daughters. Same sandwich you’ll get at any jimmy johns, just anything but “freaky fast” and the service is just in general terrible. The last two times I have been I’ve been the only one there and waited over 15 minutes for them to get it together behind the counter and make a sandwich. Not exaggerating just literally the worst jimmy John’s I know of. Any other JJ can put some meat and cheese in some bread and and get it out in a couple minutes, why they can’t do that here and it’s always someone’s first day who has no idea how to do a... read more
