I had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Jimmy John’s located at 207 W North St, Normal, IL. I placed a delivery order at 12:27 p.m. for a sandwich and a drink. I live less than a mile from the store, yet after 40 minutes with no update, I called. The person who answered — who claimed to be the manager — said he didn’t know where the driver was and told me to call back in 20 minutes. anyone else remember when you would get your Jimmy Johns delivered within 15 minutes of ordering if you were close enough? well today this took 41 minutes. the tracker also went straight from Order Received to Repeat Order after 25 minutes, so I think there may be some shitty prechecking out of orders for delivery to pad numbers or take more orders at once at the sacrifice of customer service, I now regret pre-tipping... sandwich was good though, other than all the jimmy peppers just being plopped in the middle of it.
