I liked this place. However, the store was empty the last time I drove by. I mean like ready for a new business empty. I think they were a casualty of COVID.
Loved this place. But it's permanently closed.
Sept 2020 update: They are CLOSED! WHY?! I don't understand with the great reviews why they closed. The website doesn't show closed. I had to suggest an edit on here for closure. One of my fav places now gone... Original review: Great unique spot for some great food. Prices are seasonable and the food had great taste. The corn appetizer is amazing!
ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN one of my favorite restaurants! I live in the middle of the state in the middle of no where! When I plan my (shopping) trips to Jacksonville, I plan around where Jimmy Hula’s is for lunch! Yesterday we drove all the way from Hawthorne to have lunch, a 2 hour drive.... only to see this location has been CLOSED!!! The web site has not been updated and I was furious!!! Someone should update their page for this location!! VERY disappointed!
Was closed temporarily for remodeling. Now closed for good. Signs gone. Tables, chairs everything out the door. Enjoyed it while it lasted.
