I was most pleased to meet my new nephrologist, Dr. J. Thomas. He answered all my questions and concerns. He prescribed alternative Rxs and provided extensive reference literature Re potassium and foods. My PCP (A, Celerian) has since agreed with his recommended changes. Dr. Thomas also advised me on relaxing my attitude about diet and opined that a glass or two of wine daily would not be detrimental - much to my liking.
