Best gumbo in the city!
We lived in New Orleans for 3 years and really miss the food. We’ve tried other Cajun/creole food in the area but it has all disappointed us except for Jimmie Lou’s! If you want authentic, come here! The roast beef poboy was incredible!
Beignets are FABULOUS!!!! Pralines are too! Can't wait to try their actual food Wonderful and friendly service to top it off.
Biscuit was a rock and the chicken was horrible .. that grease needed to be changed very disappointed 😔
It's not often i spend 40$ on 2 entrees and walk away thinking it was worth it. This is one of the rare occasions. Everything we had was perfect. Bread, vegetables, rice, protein, everything 10/10. Issiah was great and had our food out in 5-10 minutes. A bit pricey but worth every penny.
