Our old girl collapsed on Tuesday and we took her to the Jimboomba Veterinary Surgery thinking she’s just old, she’ll be right. Turns out her spleen had ruptured. It was operate immediately or lose her. The young vet, Peter, started surgery as they were meant to be closing - rang half way through the surgery to tell us it was more involved than he thought - completed a surgery he had never done before - after hours.
