If I broke down on 17 beside Jim's Car Care, I'd literally push my car to Calabash or Shallotte before I let them put a hand on my car. I spent over $1100 to have my A/C converted, which took several trips over a period of months and it still didn't work. Their main complaint after the conversion was that it's an older car. I contacted NAPA corporate, and all they did was forward my complaint to Jim, which sent me an e-mail. NOT IMPRESSED TOOK 4 DAYS TO FIX NO STARTING PROBLEM – MY BROTHER IN LAW'S CAR WOULD NOT START ON TUESDAY MORNING SO I CALLED JIM'S CAR CARE AND JIM SAID HE WOULD TRY TO WORK US IN THAT AFTERNOON AND GAVE ME THE NUMBER FOR MORGANS TOWING SERVICE. THE TOWING PEOPLE WERE THERE IN 30 MINUTES AND WERE PROFESIONAL AND DID A GOOD JOB. I CALLED JIMS AT 2:40 PM AND ASKED BOB IF HE HAD LOOKED AT IT. Trust worthy shop – I had my car worked on there recently and it was the best experience. The counter guys were very nice and told me exactly what I needed and gave me an estimate for repairs. My car was done the next day and for under the estimate. I had heard a lot of good things about this shop and am glad I tried them. I will go back.

Go somewhere else. – They don't tell you what is wrong with your car or what need to be done to it unless you ask them SPECIFICALLY. They tend to overlook a few things, of course and not tell you about it. Then tell you what they think needs to be fixed, and you find out that what they thought was wrong with the car isn't it at all. Overall, they are good people, but have no clue. I'm very frustrated!
