When we need to have any of the family seen… especially when one of us is ill, we are worked in and helped. The staff is friendly and professional, Dr. McGouran is conscientious as s his PA, Angela.
If I could give Mcgouran a zero star I should would. His bedside manner is awful. He rushes like a cattle company getting em in getting out. Literally was asked a question of concern and walked out the room for us to leave. And did not get the rest of my co cerns addressed. Let's not talk about pain management take a u/a give u what u want and no concern for any thing else. Very rude and disrespectful. Horrible, rude, immature stuck up staff that laughs at you in the back ground when you call about important pertinent information. I asked to get a paper sign by doctor McGoruan and they told me to make an appointment and pay $69.00. Just get a paper to be signed that he is my PCP! Well, I have dropped them. Terrible place, bunch of crooks, and Dr. McGouran doesn't even stay in the room long enough or listen to you on appointment visits. A very common complaint from many around Duncan and Marlow
Rushed atmosphere, spent little time in exam room discussing my issues. More business oriented than people care oriented. Rarely looked me in the eye while I spoke to him, more interested in the computer. Wouldn't or couldn't explain matters to me. I felt like I was slowing him down if I asked more than a couple of questions. Pleasant man, but I rarely felt comfortable or had any of my medical questions answered.
My daughter suffers from extreme depression. She went in to see him. He wouldn't spend anytime in the room and he made her feel more depression. We got home and she locked herself in her room He made her feel more worthless. She isn't sleeping at all and he made fun of her and told her to drink warm milk.
Great knowledge base and he is good to follow up. Staff will get you in the same day you call. Doesn’t spend much time in rooms though.
He makes me feel devalued as a person. He never makes me feel important enough to spend more than 5 minutes, in my room.
