I could write some long review, I’ll just say this: Jim is amazing at his work and is an awesome person. Not only did he help me with an emergency ring resize to save a long planned surprise, but also was willing to show me how he does his work. He was a joy to talk with during the whole process (only an hour!); the conversation was as good as his work! He helped me for a very fair price and I will definitely be going back in the future! Jim is amazing to work with and helped me resize my engagement ring quickly before a trip. He cleaned my wedding bands too and made them look like new. Highly recommend and he’s in a central location at DIY cave.
Jim is so passionate about metal work and specifically jewelry design that I knew I wanted to make wedding rings with my fiancé at Jims. Receiving the ring Jim carved for the love of my life was like finding a priceless and unique treasure in an archeological dig with a spirit and power of its own. Jim’s work is heart felt and sturdy and nothing short of authentic magic. I only gave general ideas and the ring he crafted is such an accurate representation of my heart and my partner’s spirit.
