I'm a snowbird who retired to Florida a decade ago. Having car problems when I'm spending a few months in Maryland every year is a recurring nightmare, so when I got a warning message about brakes on my 2021 Camry Hybrid, I thought I was in for an extended and costly headache. Brought in my 2021 Venza still under their used car warranty for unusual sound coming from the back wheels. They said it probably needs an alignment which I paid for and that didn’t fix it. Then they said the sound is normal. There is no way I would buy a car that makes this sound. So either they don’t have the expertise to figure it out or are waiting for the warranty to run out in a few weeks before they tell me what’s going on, or both. You cannot trust Jim Coleman, they are liars. When they sold me the maintenance plan for my 4runner they told me it would include oil change every 10k or six months, whichever comes first. I have been taking my car for an oil change every six months since then, but this time I came to realize they have only changed the oil on the 10k mark. For 2 1/2 years they have been taking my car in and out with a straight face every time I took my car for a oil change. I will never buy Toyota again.
First of all, they don’t answer calls. Leave a voicemail and your number, but they don’t call you back. I haven’t even picked up the car that I ordered yet and I’m already disappointed with them. Oh that Adam Carter needs to do a better job. This is the worst Toyota dealership I’ve dealt with. I will never go back to this one again. Management needs to reevaluate the people working here or maybe if management is the issue then this dealership will just go downhill.
