I recently took my older Silverado in for a state inspection and I known it would fail on certain aspects but they failed it on the dumbest of reasons. My front bumper has two minor pinholes on the front lower corners (about 2" from the lower valence) and they failed it for "snag hazard". I point blank told them that if someone is that close, they probably own the vehicle to start with. Then they claimed I have an oil leak, which I know of from the front main seal but its manageable and isn't spewing everywhere. But the fact... read more
