Great experience, Doc takes my concerns seriously and is incredibly helpful.
Dr. Pottkotter and her nurse Shalawn are the patient care dream team. Very efficient at responding to patient messages on my chart and very attentive to finding efficient and accurate diagnosis and care. Very thorough and listens to concerns of health and explore all options of diagnosis and treatment. Office staff is great. Location is great and the decorations are always warm and welcoming.
Do you want to be lectured and over sold on procedures and unnecessary test? Jillian Pottkotter is your gal! I felt pressured into unnecessary procedures and tests that had little to do with my actual concerns. In my opinion, Jillian is nothing more than a salesman looking to cash her check by referring people to Houston Methodist surgery.
My care was transferred to this person after Methodist let the best physician I have ever had go. But I continued with her nonetheless. I changed my insurance and ended up changing doctors for a couple of years. When I again changed my insurance due to benefit changes I was told that I could use this person again. I recently went for a yearly physical and was unable to schedule with her so I was put on the schedule to see her assistant. At this time I indicated that I needed refills on certain medications.
