Best doctor I’ve ever had. So smart and compassionate.
If you are a person who wants their provider to truly care not only about your health but you as a person, this is your provider. I have never met a provider who is so knowledgeable and also so personable and kind. I cannot express the consideration that she gave me as a severely anxious patient who also works in health care (which means I'm the worst kind of patient). She is wonderful.
Genuine and empathetic, Dr. Shaw is always an advocate for my best interests. She is knowledgeable and communicates clearly, in easy-to-understand terms. She has been a huge help and a skilled surgeon when I needed those things. I recommend her highly to any woman who appreciates directness, honesty, and kindness.
Instead of talking to me about the treatment during my visit she started arguing with me about some unrelated issue just because she wanted to prove a point. She was yelling, arrogant and condescending. She treated me so poorly and spooked me so bad that I had to run out of her office in 15 minutes. She had no right to treat me that way just because I'm colored and have an accent. Stay away from this doctor.
Hands down the most amazing human and doctor I've ever had. Knowledgeable, caring, kind, funny, direct, informed, etc. Cannot recommend enough.
