After having taken my stepchild 3 years to LRH ob/gyn this visit this provider and team refused her because I’m her stepmother. They cited a policy they admit has been in place the whole time but not enforced, declined her care for med refill that does not legally require a guardian’s consent, and after me telling the receptionist at every preceding visit plus 3 times during this interaction that her mother is deceased, this woman tells me the next step for me is to make sure l get her mother’s consent. Jill is absolutely amazing! She is so kind and goes above and beyond to explain everything and answer any questions. Feel so lucky to have her as part of my care team during pregnancy!
This is baby number 5. I’m very high risk in my pregnancy and Jill young and her staff are very sweet and will sit there to answer all my concerns and given the options I have. Note this my first time to plan to give birth in Lakeland regional hospital. With that being said the staff made sure to let me know my baby and I are in the best care.
