1515 Park Place: Outside of the unreliable one elevator and exorbitant rent prices…BEWARE OF DECEPTIVE PRACTICES WHEN YOU MOVE OUT REGARDING SECURITY DEPOSITS!!! They will ask you if you want to repaint or would like it done by management. What they (Shimly) won’t tell you that they withhold a portion of your deposit for this. According to NY Landlord Tenant laws they can not charge for basic turnovers with no damage! 🤬
2112 Ave P. Is the most disgusting building, the management company Brani, Keisha, Shmily are horrible to deal with. All they care about is money money money. They FAILED to provide window guards for my child and had the I never told them that I’m moving in with my child. When I had my interview with Keisha, She asked me who will be living in the apartment and I told her it will be me and my daughter. Was literally the first tenant here and just re-signed my 3rd year. Management is super responsive, understanding and actually treat you well! 10/10

I have nothing but kind words and praise for the team at JIH. Brany and Kisha were both great in helping me deal with roommate issues which were none of their own. They were always responsive and I never had any issues with the actual apartment and worked with me rather than a normal tenant / landlord relationship and went straight to late fees and evictions.
