I went with the pink Jiffy 2000-I with the metal interchangeable heads. I sell clothing so I needed something reliable to de-wrinkle and sanitize. I’ve used other products before and as soon as I took the Jiffy out of the box I was impressed with the quality. Don’t fall for made in America. I bought the Jiffy Steamer and have used it 15-20 times following the instructions included J-400 (supposed to be for Commercial Use) thinking it would last for years since I would only use it for personal use. It was not heating so the company told me it was the heating element which I purchased. When unscrewing the steamer to change the part, I realized it has rotted all over and the wires are worn (could have caused a fire). I've had the travel steamer for over 10 years and finally had the space to invest in the J-2000 and am SO glad that I did! I even hauled the J-2000 to the hotel where I got ready for my wedding and didn't think twice about hauling a full-size steamer! The J-2000 is very easy to use and heats up quickly. For those novice steamers, it's best to steam the garment from the underside avoiding the steam, focusing on the tightest wrinkles first. I like to hold the garment taut while I steam it. Died after 4 months. Wanted me to pay for shipping to send in a defective product ($30-40) or to send me the wires to replace. How is it my responsibility to fix a defective product when I spent over 200 dollars on something that is supposed to last YEARS. Should have spent a quarter of the money on a different machine, at least that would last a year. Update: got the replacement wire and replaced it. Steamer worked for 1 whole day then died again. I need this for work, and now all my clothes are wrinkly
