It's one of my top favorite places in DC.
The food was a surprising disappointment. I used to love Jiffy subs but the sandwich (steak & cheese) was bland with almost no steak or cheese... for what I paid, I expected more than a steakum sammich. I won't be back.
In the 35+ years that I have been eating at Jiffy’s I have NEVER been dissatisfied until tonight. I had a chicken cheesesteak that tasted like a grilled cheese because there wasn’t even enough meat to fill the roll. I called and spoke to the owner, and wasn’t offered a refund or other alternative. My husband had a cheesesteak, and his was lacking meat as well.
