I have been to the brightwaters location twice, and when I got to their office, both times I was told to go to the bay shore office. The first time I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this morning when I went to get my heart monitor on before work, the brightwaters location told me they didn’t have a MA and that I need to go to the bay shore location. Unfortunately this doctor doesn’t work with you. I have chf and there is a lot of fluid build up in my abdomen because of this. I asked him to up my dosage on my lasics to help alleviate my discomfort or even do paracentisis on me to drain the fluid. He totally ignored my request and told me to lose weight. My problem with this guy he doesn’t listen to you. What he says goes. Remember. We know our bodies better than these doctors. I would not recommend this cardiologist.
I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Yang. He is thorough, professional, and reassuring with all questions. The office staff is pretty nice too. Have been seeing for many years now.
Unfortunately dr Yang is one of those doctors that once he has his mind made up, that’s it. Everything you say to him is ignored and dismissed even though you know your right. So he doesn’t listen to you. There is a term for this. It’s called “ medical gaslighting”. If you want a doctor who doesn’t listen to you, then he’s for you.
A smiling face and he has done something no cardiologist has done for me before. He explained my possible issues so that I understood.Explained tests and options. I was very comfortable with Dr Yang, and being that the group of Dr. I'm seeing are all working together.
