While I thought the quote included everything we had agreed on, apparently I was wrong. Extra labor got added and extra square feet on the application of spray. Oddly enough all these extras added up to the amount on the line on the quote for moving stuff, which I had done myself to save some money.Also, the crew showed up with little to no idea what work was to be done. *****,We did provide an estimate for a small scope of work that we intended to perform but when we are asked to perform work outside that scope it is natural to expect changes in charges for said work. We are always happy to take care of our customers concerns and added scope of work. In a normal situation we would have provided a change order however when jobs are under $1000 we feel the extra steps are just cumbersome. My dad had a small fire in attic. The guy arrived with the fire fighters. He took all dad’s possessions to clean them. They had to put new trusses on roof. Didn’t finish put a tarp up. Got three inches of rain and ruined entire house. My dad had to buy a lot of materials and the guy is charging him for the materials he bought. Dad got the insurance money and was kind of the contractor and paid him as he went. 5 stars Recently my wife and I were displaced from our home due to water damage. Unfortunately we didn’t do our homework and hired the wrong restoration company who were more interested in our money than getting our home safe. Luckily for us someone recommended J&G home improvements. They came in, and not only got our house repaired, they also worked with our insurance company to get us a fair estimate that was 3x’s what the insurance companies initial estimate was. Josh and his team did a wonderful job at a family members residence. Clean up , restoration and new flooring put down after a sewer back up. Friendly manager and good staff
Our basement flooded due to a recent sump pump switch failure and extreme rain. JG Home Improvement were our savior with an after hour emergency call. They worked like dogs removing our basement wall to wall carpet, pad and baseboard. Fans were set up to dry after holes were drilled and mold retardant sprayed.
