The JFK ER was excellent. The doctors who performed the emergency appendectomy on my wife were also overall excellent as well as the nurses. So I suppose you're wondering why the one-star rating. My wife has a couple of significant food allergies. Fish, shellfish and all mammal meat. The hospital staff did a great job getting those allergies into the notes for the hospital kitchen. Yet, 3 out of the 4 meals ended up arriving with things on the plate that could have caused anaphylaxis reaction for my wife.. and yet the note r... read more
I WAS EXTREMELY COMPELLED TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW IN LIGHT OF THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOSPITAL THAT MY MOTHER & I HAD. MY MOTHER IS 82, WITH DECLINING HEALTH, SUSCEPTIBLE TO INFECTIONS ETC. THE STAFF AT THIS HOSPITAL WAS OUTSTANDING, AND EXTREMELY KIND, CARING, AND ATTENTIVE TO MY MOTHER DURING HER STAY THERE. I WOULD LIKE TO ESPECIALLY COMPLIMENT RACHAEL & FAITH IN CASE MANAGEMENT.
