I gave 1 star because Kim didn't die. However, I am disappointed and unhappy with the care and attention that was provided. She was left unattended for long periods of time, and when she fell we discovered that the call button was unplugged and family had to run to find help AND still did not receive the help needed until after family had to intervene and do it themselves. Please do better.
I would like to thank my nurses Chris and Rose for the finest care that I could have received. They were so kind patient and professional. Absolutely the two best nurses I've ever had the pleasure to be taken care of. And JFK itself the hospital is very professional and timely when you need help. There's nothing more annoying when you're in a hospital in need of care and you ask for a nurse or ring for a nurse and it takes them an hour or something to get back to you. Our experience with HCA FL JFK Hospital was more than we could have expected. The care they provided for my dad was full of compassion and love. My dad came in to the hospital and unfortunately was on an extended stay with a new diagnosis of Cancer. With his prior existing conditions, my dad unfortunately had major complications through his radiation and chemo therapy.
