DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JFA if you are a contractor. They do not pay their bills and they will not answer your calls. They state that operate with integrity but theft is not a virtue. The owner is shown as Don Austin and John F Austin. I have called, texted and emailed and as soon as I tell them I need to speak to someone in AP, they stop replying.
Warning to Other Subcontractors: We completed a project for JFA in Perryton, TX on Christmas Eve, after the owner insisted it was urgent and had to be done that day. We delivered the work as promised. Now, 8 months later, we still have not been paid. The invoice has accumulated 6 months of late fees due to nonpayment. Instead of simply paying what is owed, the owner is demanding that we sign a lien release before sending payment — which is completely backwards and puts subcontractors at risk. Did work for this company, and never received full compensation. Horrible communication, and complete disregard for chain of command on a job site.
John is the best. Great attention to detail. He takes great pride in his work.
