I walked in very excited from my last experience. My first experience was good. Bought a gold and emerald ring. This experience on 7/26/25 with the little old lady was horrible. Mind you, I’m very well dressed and have about 20k in diamonds on. I’m on my third piece and by then she looks me dead in the eye and says “are you actually going to buy anything or just wasting my time” I said excuse me and I not aloud to look? The older lady. ( maybe the owner) was extremely extremely rude. We were looking at stuff and my daughter pulled out her phone to see a text message. She comes up to us and does not great us and said are you going to put your phone away? Why she isn’t doing anything she said are you stupid use common sense ? Why ? The women who owns this store is a Very kind and knowledgeable lady. I have shopped there whenever I've been in Nevada.
I have always had a wonderful experience in this jewelry store in Virginia City. The older woman who has worked there for many years has always been knowledgeable, sweet and respectful to us and every customer who walked in. Today she helped me pick out a ring and matching white buffalo turquoise pendant that are authentic from Otteson’s mine in Tonapah Nevada. The service and inventory are excellent and I always love stopping in the store to purchase quality pieces.
The most rude and probably prejudice person I've met by far. I wanted to buy my wife a pair of nice earrings and I actually really liked their inventory. She was very rude and scolded me three times even though I was being extremely apologetic for taking pictures to show my wife since she lives a state away. Continued to scold and disrespect not only me, but my group of friends. If you're also a veteran, then avoid at all costs.
