This is actually a very good pharmacy. The store as a whole would get zero stars for quadroupling for prices on the simplest and most basic items.
I stopped by the Osco Pharmacy in Elburn on Sunday (10/19) around 2 p.m., and the pharmacist on duty couldn’t have been ruder. I asked a simple question about a product on the shelf, and he responded with, “You don’t need to yell,” even though I was speaking in a normal tone. It was clear he didn’t want to be bothered with my question. If you’re looking for courteous, professional service, I recommend visiting another Osco location - there are plenty where the pharmacists treat customers with respect.
My husband just picked up this prescription from Osco for me for $377.00. My insurance doesn’t cover this inhaler and the pharmacy did not even offer to look for a discount for it. They are the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I would go to Walgreens but insurance doesn’t allow that. Yes, i have an insurance problem but it is as if Osco seeks to make it worse.
Very long wait since the pharmacist decided to take a 15 minute break. I guess I shouldn't complain since he was working very hard.
