I normally shop here because it is closest but today when I was there I noticed the new parking spot for the Starbucks customer. It is closer than ANY of the handicapped spots to the front doors. I think Jewel is sending a clear message that they value their Starbucks customers MORE than their physically challenged customers. SHAME ON YOU JEWEL!
Everyone was there was so friendly. More than I can say about the Jewel in Shorewood. The employees at the one in Shorewood act like they're doing you a favor waiting on you. I drive 4 miles farther to go to the Caton Farm Road store. You can keep the one in Shorewood.
This jewel is horrible after remodeling. The pricing on items are ridiculous very high, only shop at jewel for what's on sale. The deli is a whole other problem, don't matter what time you go there your waiting at least for 10 minutes, people are slow, inconsiderate, talking with each other instead of helping people. The best new Jewel Osco store
I'd like to congratulate someone on their recently conferred college degree. Obviously you felt the need to assert it by re-arranging the ENTIRE store. Please consider preparing a product directory either alphabetically or by UPC code showing the old location of each product and its current location in the new layout. In the future, please consider seeking input from your shoppers since, ultimately, we are the source of your profits.
The bakery gave us a cake the designer thought we would like because they discontinued the toy my son wanted, when we were told they had it 3 weeks prior. They did not bother to call and communicate prior and it took them 10 minutes to find the cake they actually did make.
