The food was almost perfect. The chicken korma was very flavorful, same with the tikka masala. The only thing that was not perfect at Jewel of the Himalaya was the naan. It was not as good as other restaurants naan, but it was still good. Servings were big enough for 2 people to share, but more rice could be given. The service was very good, and I never needed to ask to fill up my water. The atmosphere was also very nice, but the restaurant was a little small. Overall, very good.
My friends and I sat over tea after our meal for o long time very comfortably.
A few nights ago, I ordered dinner for two from this restaurant via Instacart/Uber. Our favorite Indian restaurant, Taj, in Fairfield, no longer delivers to our area. After seeing the 5-star reviews, I was impressed and hoped for the best. We ordered the same dishes we had gotten from Taj many times. To say we're disappointed is an understatement.
