My mom has been there for six years and has had the best care! Between Emylin and the care providers before them I wouldn’t recommend anybody else! Her other care providers are amazing! I have stayed the night with my mom, for unrelated health reasons, and they were accommodating and helpful. I can rest assured you, they are amazing and are in the best of hands!
My father was placed in Jewel Lake Assisted Living Home after battling dementia for many years. It was such a stressful time to try and find a place where we felt he’d be well taken care of. He has been there over 2 years and we cannot say enough nice things. Grace, the owner, genuinely cares for the residents. Jewel Lake Assisted Living Home is a superb place for a loved one. My family member was a resident in the home for over two years. He received excellent care that included personal hygiene, administration of medication and tasty meals that he enjoyed. Grace and Arthur allow native food to be brought in by family so that it was available when my loved one asked for it. Transportation provided to and from medical facilities is provided. The people and caregivers at this facility are wonderful. They took excellent care of my father when we could no longer physically care for him. The staff treated him with dignity and love. He was always cleaned and groomed we we visited with him... which was nearly daily. Dad had late stages of dementia. He still enjoyed the activities they did with him like singing and eating ice cream on the back deck. We were always informed on every aspect of his care which was welcomed. My mother has been a resident here and we have found the staff very conscientious and the environment very warm and friendly. They are an end of care facility - which means residents will not be asked to leave as their condition progresses. THey have special training in caring for alzheimer's and dementia patients but care for all kinds of issues.
