I took a ring into the Jewel Box recently to have it rebuilt and make the band a 2-mil. When I picked up the ring, it was only 1-mil. but they tried to charge me for a 2-mil band. I asked for the back shaft of my old ring back and they told me they typically don’t give the unused gold back? When I insisted, they gave me the back shaft of a size 5 ring when I brought in a 7.5 size.
