Horrible Service, Food not that great – We had an extremely horrible experience for our first and last time dining at the Jetty in Santa Maria. Our waitress had a bad attitude about everything from us asking for separate checks to asking for more lemons for our table. The worst part is that when my husband took a bite from my plate she loudly announced for the entire restuarant to hear that we could not share, we overlooked all of her rude actions until she threatened to charge us double for "sharing". Could be better From the outside, the Jetty looks promising - it's got a great sign that promises a relaxing, fresh seafood dinner in a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food disappoints almost universally. It's overcooked, dry, and uninteresting, and in some cases weird. The shrimp cocktail is possibly the strangest version I've ever encountered - tiny, limp, soggy shrimp doused in cocktail sauce, layered with diced celery in a cocktail glass that looks like it should have an umbrella sticking out of it. Okay Fish in a town that is 10 miles from the ocean. You would hope for good fish in a town that is just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean. But good seafood is rare in Santa Maria; this is cattle country.

Land locked but Fresh Fish Super food, prices, service! Their place is always neat and clean. Lots of neat stuff to look at on the walls. Kind of a wharf style feeling when entering the building. Great atmosphere. Even better tasting food. Large portions. Super tasting fresh fish. Love the fish and chips!
