The Laviolette family has operated the Jetty since 1979, with Damian and Teah Laviolette taking the reins in September 2018. I came up here to visit some friends in Portland and this was a must do on my itinerary. Ariel was very informative, kind and knowledgeable. Her kindness and patience was very appreciated. Even though I'm uncoordinated and did a slippy in the boat, we had so much fun! We tried with five adults and soon found out it's easier with three. You will get moisty and your underpants will get wet, if not properly prepared. This was an amazing spot to spend the weekend and the people truly make it stand out. This was my first time crabbing and they were happy to give me the full rundown on what to do. Josh went out of his way to jump my car when I was stuck, he was an absolute lifesaver. Ariel was super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Between the great service and the kind, genuine staff, I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend stopping here
I love Jetty Fishery! The staff are so friendly, the seafood so fresh and the outdoor atmosphere is lovely!! I have so many awesome memories of coming here, and I’m so sad to say that I won’t be returning. The last 2 times we’ve visited we’ve been accosted by some middle aged Karen who can’t help but yell at us! Last July my partner, daughter and I stopped by, to celebrate my partners birthday. Great camping location and super convenient to walk to the docks for great crabbing. We also rented a boat for crabbing and had an awesome time! Reasonable prices!
