The Jesus Center is a non-profit organization founded in God’s love. In response to the complexity of homelessness, hunger and poverty, we work with our community to restore those suffering from isolation to community integration. We provide a 60-bed shelter program and a transitional housing program.

Half the staff here acts like they absolutely hate their job and make sure everyone at the shelter knows. Some noteworthy moments being: shook awake violently by staff, laughed at when cried, don’t listen to medical notes and they would rather you pee your pants than let you use the other restrooms. The shelter monitor there is especially a real piece of work, calling out to people in front of everyone after they cried asking if they were smoking pot.
