Recommendedi love JRH! The setting is beautiful but first and foremost is the staff. Because of covid19 they had to adjust the retreat to accommodate our safety and it went off without a hitch. Everything was done with love and thoughtfulness. Thank you for another perfect experience.
I've been going for 35 years and never came home without peace and serenity. This place is a place of miracles. So calm, quiet, and beautiful. Just the place to be alone with your Jesus.
The atmosphere and grounds are excellent for keeping the silence and making a retreat.
The silence is golden, the grounds are just breathtaking.
I just attended a wonderful weekend retreat. it was peaceful and filled with prayer and continual learning about the Catholic faith. The entire place was beautiful inside and out. Fr. David Shields was an excellent leader. Even though it was a silent retreat I spent some quality time with some very nice women. The food was delicious too! I am definitely going back.
Just returned home from my first five-day silent retreat at the Jesuit Retreat House. The grounds situated on Lake Winnebago and Retreat House are beautiful. There is access to Spiritual Directors and wonderful places to pray, like the Chapel of the Annunciation. Bookcases of spiritual books available. Opportunity for daily Mass, as well as Reconciliation and Healing services. Massage therapy offered and three good meals a day included. Highly recommended if you are in need of spiritual renewal or just relaxation. 5 Stars
