This is the first doctor I’ve ever been to that truly listens to what I say and how I feel. She explains everything that’s going on as well what she thinks. Majority of other doctors I’ve seen seem rushed. They listen to the first couple things you say then make a diagnosis, write a script and send you on your way with zero explanation of your condition or medicine. Dr Yoakum is the family doctor we all remember. She takes time with you, remembers who you are, explains in depth any questions you might have. She gets to the bottom of issues. She doesn’t just throw Prescriptions at you and send you out the door. She deeply cares about your health and you as a person. Always follows up. When I was in the hospital, she called to check on me. Beyond the norm for these days. Highly recommend her!
