I am a respected RN in the area. My brother is a respected physician. To this day we have never witnessed a surgeon neglect and abandon a patient the way she has our family member. If you want a general surgeon who is highly respected with years of knowledge and bedside manner who listens to, assesses, and addresses concerns, I would highly recommend Dr. Barry Miller.

Jun 20, 2024 Patient abandonment If I could have given 0 stars I would have! Did surgery on my sister. Horrible complications from the very beginning. Refuses to see her to assess surgical wound and stoma. She is still in the hospital 6 weeks post op. Dr. Stevens is negligent and withholds care. She has sent my sister to ER from LTAC several times to assess her wounds. However, Dr. Stevens is then 'not available' even though she is the one who ordered transport. Does not really answer questions. Skirts around issues. RUN, DO... read more

She is a great doctor was able to save my colon and removed all the cancer, could not have been in any better hands would highly recommend.
