When I came to the office, my C3 and C4 were out of line and my C5 and C6 needed desperate help! The inadequacies of the 1 to 5 star rating system are ever so apparent when it comes to the care & expertise of Dr. Shield, Natalie & the DCN-Neurolgy office. Of course I’ll give Five Stars to Dr.Shields, but words fail to express how much the surgery I had altered the course of my life. On Oct 13, 2023, my 18 year old son fell asleep at the wheel while driving back to college after helping out at a livestock event in Phoenix. He rolled his vehicle multiple times, broke his cervical 5 and 6 vertebrae and shattered his cervical 7. His spinal cord injury was severe and quadriplegia was the likely outcome.
