Hello my name is Victor Lopez I recently met Dr Shields I was referred to her by another doctor that tried to put a pain stimulator that was not successful because I had too much scar tissue. Dr. Shields has been a major lifesaver for me. After 4 cervical surgeries after a very serious car accident, I was still in major pain. Dr. Shields approached my spine totally different & putting spacers in the facets in my neck drastically reduced my pain. 10 months later, after numerous orthopedic doctors told me my lumbar spine was a “hot mess” & was not fixable, Dr. Shields removed my L1 L2 disc & fused that level. Top drawer. Surgery was successful and Dr Shields was spot on. Truly wonderful discussions prior to surgery giving me all information to make the decision for surgery. So glad I did it.
I saw Natalie Rue PA several times because of a spine infection. She was thorough, professional, answered all our questions and did not rush to get done with the appt. She responded quickly to messages sent through the patient portal. Highly recommend.
