Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile, promptly got x Ray, seen DR and was thoroughly given diagnosis and received further instructions for treatment. Nice and felt heard.
She actually examined me. I feel confident that she can help me with my back issues.
She reviewed my MRI &Xrays and suggested a treatment similar to what a previous Dr had said, but she would be less intrusive and dynamic thus preserving more of my structure. That was very satisfying and I began the scheduling process.
Second appointment with Texas Back Institute, second rave review. Contemplating spinal surgery is a scary path. In both of my visits, the first for lumbar the second for cervical, the results of the visit were the same: No Surgery Indicated. Three beautiful words from a surgeon! Very professional and caring through all phases of the process. Presented information thoroughly including risks. Marvelous results with caring after treatment. Two years and back is better than prior to injury. Couldn’t recommend Dr. Shellock highly enough and the entire staff at Texas Back Institute!
