Thank goodness this doctor came in and took my mother’s case. My siblings and I was not feeling comfortable with the care our mother was receiving from the other doctors. Dr. Okun came in and before speaking with us she examined our mothers to get her own assessment and then proceeded to question us and give us a step by step procedure of what’s to take place including the worst case scenario. I truly appreciate her bedside manners and her spirit-more doctors should take a page out of her book regarding patient treatment

I’m a new patient of Dr. Okun, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of neurosurgeon. Dr. Okun is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to truly care for her patients. You can tell she’s deeply dedicated to what she does. Her entire team is also wonderful—everyone is kind, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, I felt safe and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Dr Okun is a real superstar!! She repaired a herniated disc of mine that had caused untenable and outrageous pain. Dr. Okun is that rare doctor who is an ultimately skilled surgeon with an equally wonderful bedside manor. She does not talk down to you, she spends her time (and takes her time) explaining the issue and the solution. I rarely am so laudatory of anyone, but Dr. Okun has earned my praise in spades.
