Dr. Shank is a great surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. She explained my procedure very well and listened intently to my questions. From the first discussion I knew that Dr. Shank was a person to be trusted. I highly recommend Dr. Shank.

I recently had a minimally invasive hysterectomy at the Tulane downtown campus. From the moment I entered the pre-operating area until my discharge that same afternoon I was cared by a highly professional, warm and caring staff, who treated me with much respect. My recovery at home was very fast, totally painless, and within 2 days I was able resume most of my usual activities. I have nothing but the highest praise and gratitude for Dr. Shank and her excellent staff who did everything possible to make me feel comfortable.
