Disappointed with my experience with Dr Dowda. I scheduled with her to have an evaluation for surgical clearance, was told that I was cleared and she even filled out the clearance form + faxed it to the surgeon along with my labs, ecg + chest x ray AND made a post op check up appointment for the week after surgery. However, I received a call the next morning from the surgeon’s office that she added a note stating she does not do medical clearance and was only doing a risk evaluation where she deemed me 0% risk. I honestly wasn’t expecting this level of care from a doctor. She’s incredibly attentive and what really sets her apart is how easy it is to reach her (even outside office hours) I’ve had questions late at night and she actually responds. That kind of availability is rare and it means a lot when you’re dealing with health concerns. Highly recommend her.
Dr Dowda helped me establish a healthier lifestyle in order to manage my cholesterol and blood pressure issues. She listens very carefully and is very thorough with every appointment. I never feel rushed. My family loves her as well. She genuinely wants the best for each of her patients. I will send everyone I know to her.

I had a great experience with this doctor. She is incredibly kind and truly cares about her patients’ health and well-being. She takes the time to listen carefully, makes you feel comfortable, and ensures all your questions are fully addressed.
