I’m not sure when it happened, but this vet practice was bought up by private equity. If you don’t already know about what private equity is, you should look into it. The goal is to maximize profits for the corporate entity that owns the business. I’m a single mom and have been a client of Westfield Animal Hospital for nearly a decade, bringing in four pets over the years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I have an 11-year-old dog who is slowing down, and I’m trying to avoid unnecessary vaccinations at her elderly age.
