Dr. Apel just gets it. I’m sure there is a more eloquent way to say that, but if you’ve met her you know- she’s just going to do the thing or say the thing that you need in that moment. My wife ended up having to stay on hospital bed rest for a number of weeks and both Dr. Apel and Dr. Kirsten Smith would spend time visiting with her. Dr. Apel truly warms the room as soon as she walks in, prioritizes your comfort, and makes you feel like a priority despite the number of patients I imagine she helps day to day! She’s very down-to-earth and willing to walk through any questions you have thoroughly.--She is there to hear your voice and make you feel safe under her supervision. Plus, the office is beautiful!
