I was passing through Dayton on a business trip, and was wishing I'd gotten a trim before leaving home. Quick Google search, and took a chance on a spot near my hotel. Howard got to me within 30 minutes of my call, did a great job, and we had an incredibly nice conversation about the history of his place and career, etc. I got much more than a nice, quick haircut and would love to repeat the experience someday. Thanks, Howard!

Howard will have been my barber for a decade as of 2024 and I plan for him to be my barber for the next decade... That is if I have any hair left to cut by then of course. Having known both Howard, the barber, and Grady, the shoe shiner, for ten years now, I am proud to have been a customer of theirs as the two always find a way to make folks smile and laugh. Howard at Jesse's barbershop is awesome! He does great work at a great price, and it's always a pleasure being in his chair. 10/10, highly recommended for excellent and affordable haircuts and beard trimming in downtown Dayton!
