I've been coming to this place since 1993. The owner is like a Bay Area Historian to me. He's seen the neighborhood change through more than six decades. Although I now live on the East Coast, I still make it a must to stop by and get a cut because Harold is one of the best barbers to ever hold a pair of clippers. We in the community have always seen him as a Bay Area legend!

Classic and the definition of a barbershop. Mr. Spiller has been there forever a real O.G. barber and can still cut with the best of'em. This shop should be a Berkeley historical landmark.
