We hired Jess as a postpartum doula. Her impressive resume attracted our attention in our initial search but her kind, organized and informative personality were what solidified the “deal”. As first time parents, Jess helped our family in the early days with tasks related to baby and also around the house (meal prep, laundry). We have hired Jess the Doula for both of our Births and very much enjoyed her knowledge and experience with labor and childbirth. Jess is very understanding and respectful of our wishes. She helped us have natural home births and shared her insight along the way of how to encourage labor progression. She stayed after the birth to clean up and bring us food and drinks before she left. We are so grateful we had Jess to help us throughout my pregnancy, labour and delivery, and postpartum. When complications arose during my delivery Jess was amazing, and whenever we tell anyone our birth story we always rave about her. We truly don't know what we would have done without her. Her wealth of knowledge and support for us has been immeasurable!
Jess was my doula for both of my pregnancies, she was present for the hospital birth of my first son, and I don’t know what I would have done without her. She taught me information that allowed me to advocate for myself with confidence. She supported me postpartum with breastfeeding, and answered my 1 million texts asking 1 million questions after we came home from the hospital. Jess was our doula with both our children and she was amazing! She was wonderful during the birth of our first baby, suggesting so many different techniques and things to try during pregnancy and labour and was a huge help to my husband during the birth. She unfortunately couldn’t be with us for the birth of our second baby, due to covid, but she was still just as helpful with in person visits beforehand and over the phone during labour.
