5 stars because the crew tried so hard to find whales. We did see some dolphins. We stayed out later than expected and we had no luck. The crew is great. The day was very nice. I had so much fun getting my husband out of his comfort zone and on the front of the boat. Crew was super nice. I can't give them a bad review because the captain along with the crew tried. Amazing whale watching trip! One humpback (#342 “Carnation”) stayed with our boat for quite awhile, spouting and feeding, and showing off his tail.
I had the pleasure of chaperoning on a HS field trip. Jersey Shore Whale Watching on the “Jersey Girl” did not disappoint. We saw so many whales, dolphins, and birds. Our nature guide was very knowledgeable and the crew was very accommodating. We had an enjoyable and smooth experience on a beautiful November day. I would recommend this trip to any marine nature enthusiast.
